OVERVIEW

The KUNZ UBB Universal BeadBreaker has been specifically designed for bias tires of large aircraft. Its electro-hydraulic bead breaking action is engineered for damage-free separation of the tire bead from the rim, using controlled press force rather than harsh impact.

The UBB features an integrated ramp for easier wheel positioning as well as a wheel trolley with rollers for manual handling. Height adjustment of the press tools is performed via push buttons for ease of use. The adjustable tooling accepts a wide range of civil aircraft wheel sizes without requiring any additional adapters, making the UBB a highly versatile solution for high-throughput MRO shop environments.

Foot Pedal Operation for Maximum Hands-Free Control

The KUNZ UBB is operated via foot pedals, allowing the operator to use both hands freely at all times.
This design choice provides maximum flexibility to guide the wheel precisely during the bead breaking process, resulting in a faster, safer and more consistent outcome on every cycle.

Electronic Drive Option:

The KUNZ UBB is also available as an electronically driven version, further simplifying the process by eliminating the need for the operator to manually rotate the wheel during bead breaking.

Shared Power Pack Option (SBB):

The KUNZ UBB is capable of sharing its power pack together with the KUNZ SBB. This way you will only need one power pack for both of these units which reduces costs of investment.
Operation is only possible on either one unit at the same time.

The KUNZ UBB comes with a factury set power requirement of 50/60 Hz, 400V 3-phases, 16 ampere fuse However, we will always need to know your local power requirements in order to check for compatability. In general, your local power requirements will always be available with KUNZ machines in return of extra costs.
