OVERVIEW

The KUNZ SBB Small BeadBreaker has been specifically designed for the latest generation of radial tires, such as Michelin NZG and Bridgestone RRR tires, for aircraft up to the A320 and B737 size, as well as all smaller aircraft.

The SBB features an integrated ramp for easier wheel positioning and a wheel trolley with rollers for manual handling. Height adjustment of the press tools is performed easily via push buttons. Its press tools with wide, rounded edges ensure gentle treatment of the wheel and prevent damage to heat shields. No additional adapters are required, making the SBB a highly practical and cost-efficient bead breaking solution for workshops handling smaller aircraft tires.

The KUNZ SBB Small BeadBreaker is purpose-built for aircraft tires ranging from the very smallest up to those found on narrow-body aircraft such as the Airbus A320 and Boeing 737. Despite its compact footprint, the SBB delivers the same reliable, damage-free performance as KUNZ's larger bead breaking systems.

Its wide, rounded press tool edges protect heat shields and bearing cups, while the integrated ramp and wheel trolley make wheel positioning quick and ergonomic. The result is a dependable, low-maintenance tool for everyday use in any wheel and brake shop.

Foot Pedal Operation for Maximum Hands-Free Control

The KUNZ SBB is operated via foot pedals, allowing the operator to use both hands freely throughout the bead breaking process. This enables the most precise, efficient and safe handling possible, reducing cycle times and improving overall workflow consistency.

Shared Power Pack Option:

In combination with the KUNZ DUBB, UBB or UAS, the KUNZ SBB can be procured without its own individual power pack. In this configuration, the SBB draws its power from the paired unit, effectively saving on investment costs. Only one unit can be operated at a time in this configuration.

Electrical power requirments

The KUNZ SBB comes with a factury set power requirement of 50/60 Hz, 400V 3-phases, 16 ampere fuse However, we will always need to know your local power requirements in order to check for compatability. In general, your local power requirements will always be available with KUNZ machines in return of extra costs.
