Overview

The KUNZ DUBB Dynamic Universal BeadBreaker has been specifically designed for the latest generation of radial tires, such as Michelin NZG and Bridgestone RRR tires for aircraft including the A320, A350, B737, B787, B777, B747 and ERJ 190, as well as all conventional bias aircraft tires.

The driven press tools rotate the wheel while simultaneously breaking the bead by gently moving the tire sidewall inwards. Subsequently, there is no damage to the bearing cups or any other part of the wheel and tire throughout the entire process.

Once the wheel has been positioned, the operator steps back and controls the unit via the control panel, ensuring a safe operating distance at all times and minimizing the risk of injury.

The bead breaking process is carried out without loud impact or breaking noise, significantly reducing noise exposure and supporting compliance with modern health and safety standards in the workshop.

Seamless Workflow Integration with KUNZ LogMove

The KUNZ DUBB is designed to work in combination with the KUNZ LogMove, enabling efficient movement of wheel assemblies between the assembly station and the test system without manual lifting or risk of tipping.

This integration reduces handling time, improves workshop safety and supports a smooth, continuous workflow from assembly through testing to return to service.

DUBB NGtronic® AUTO – Fully Automated Bead Breaking:

The KUNZ DUBB NGtronic® AUTO delivers maximum convenience, efficiency and full process traceability. By eliminating human factors during bead breaking, the system ensures consistent, error-free operation, prevents wheel damage and significantly reduces the risk of operator injury. Safety light barriers protect personnel during automatic operation. Work orders can be retrieved via barcode scanner or RFID card. Remote maintenance support is available for fast technical assistance and software updates.

Shared Power Pack Option:

The KUNZ DUBB is also capable of sharing its power pack together with the KUNZ SBB. This way you will only need one power pack for both of these units which reduces costs of investment.
Operation is only possible on either one unit at the same time.

Electric power requirements

The KUNZ DUBB comes with a factury set power requirement of 50/60 Hz, 400V 3-phases, 16 ampere fuse However, we will always need to know your local power requirements in order to check for compatability. In general, your local power requirements will always be available with KUNZ machines in return of extra costs.

Automatic programs for each part number can be selected by scanning work orders with bar codes or RFID cards
The automatic bead breaking does not require any supervision at any point of the process
